so since aubin was traded for the ducks 7th and huet was traded for (i believe) the ducks 2nd in 09 that means huet is only 3.5 times better than aubin right? I would have thought he was at least 5 or 10x better

ZOMG wow... We should have had that trade >.< our 2nd rounder is higher and worth more. Blah!
Actually, the Kings should have kept him in the first place. We could have done without the Garon experience.
After my initial surprise at this trade, my first thought was that Broudreau would be coaching Huet again. The second, that I'm happy to see Halak is going to possibly get another chance. He had a good showing at the end of last season and was called up and played two games this season. This kid played in Long Beach two years ago and it would be nice to see him make it in the big league.

omgwtf, huet has changed his mind and wants his name pronounced "hu-è" instead of "hu-ette" now. hahaha... i wonder if he was just trying to eff around with the québécois since french canadians have a wonkier vernacular and pronunciation of the french language. i lol'd.
it SHOULD be pronounced "hu-è". god, i'm glad i don't have to hear broadcasters say it the "wrong" way anymore.

i'm watching it on delay, just getting done with the 1st period. but i'm glad to hear there's a reason to keep watching.
*edit: ooooh, cristo gets a shutout. very nice! (c'est très super!) other than the short-handed chance jersey got though, it was kind of a lackluster game on their part. hmmm... i'm tuning into the montreal game now to see how price fairs as the new #1.

wow, 6-2 montreal and not bad for price either. i just hope both he and "halak it like that!" hold up well in the playoffs. the #1 power play in the league prevails and that last goal by the habs was sick based purely on the fact that it was done by a kostitsyn brothers tag team.
