At this point in time, its not a Yashin contract.

DiPietro earned his money every game this season, and the team taking him out now to take care of his hip shows that they are doing the responsible thing not only for Rick, but the team. He will be back next season at 100% and the fact that he missed the last couple games this season will be quickly forgotten.
