goalies should not be allowed to come out that far unless they are racing a player to the puck...catching a guy with his head down and hitting him low is dangerous. Having said that....it was still awesome.

And it looks more like Hasek laid down and Gaborik skated into him.

That was a dangerous play. It was awesome to watch.... but common, what if Hasek did that to Kopitar. We'd be screamin for Hasek's head.

2 Minutes for that sounds right to me... just like you can get called for boarding someone by checking them into the boards if they are completely unaware because its potentially very dangerous... this is somewhat similar to me.

Gaborik had his head down and Hasek went after the puck, not his fault Gaborik wasn't paying attention. If Hasek did that to Kopitar I wouldn't be yelling for Hasek's head, I'd be yelling at Kopitar to keep his head up!

If Gaborik didn't have possession of the puck and it was out in front of him, I'd be fine with the play. But when he has the puck close to him like that and Hasek comes out like that, it's mostly going to end like that. And that I don't like.

i'm glad he didn't get hurt cuz that could've been really dangerous had he not fallen in a decent fashion....
