Montreal fans riot after victory - UPI.com
That's what made the Flames cup run so special. Calgary partied super hard with none of that BS. With that said, nowadays, the 'Red Mile' has all the charm of a detention facility with the massive police presence.
Montreal knows how to party. Not like it's the first time they've done this up there. Look up August 8, 1992 and Metallica and you will see more of the same.
Probably because real hockey fans don't do that kind of *****.
Don't worry OP, one day, you'll meet some, but you might have to change zip codes and/or favorite teams first.
Laker fans overturned cop cars and set them on fire. I bet Dodger fan could do better in their sleep. It's an LA thing ergo, if I were a King fan I'd make sure my finger of persecution isn't pointing in the direction of activity such as this.
Not to my knowledge. Just police cars torched and turned over, just like last night.
Funny enough, my first ever concert (Pantera in the mid 90's) someone was killed there. Well, OK, not funny, but it reminded me, that's all.
You're right. It was a different concert riot where people died.
The Montreal concert was where Hetfield went foot first into some pyro and burned himself. Then GnR flaked out on the power of a whiny Axl Rose... which led to said fan riot.
