On Feb. 6, the Flyers held “Ron Hextall Night” at a game with the Washington Capitals at Wachovia Center. They were honoring their longtime goaltender by placing him into the team’s Hall of Fame."
As they should of. had they asked the Caps to go along with it I am sure there would have been no issues. Have the ceremony before the game let the visiting team know all is good.
My question is did they get fined for having the ceremony or for not having the Zamboni off the ice by the 13 minute mark, which is also mandated by the NHL. I know the Kings have gotten fined for it in the past as well.

WOW, where do they come up with this ****? 13 minutes? I don't know what's more confusing-where they came up with the 13 minutes or that SBU knows about that rule.

I still think they should have done it when LA was in town. I doubt the Kings organ-eye-zation would have complained about their assistant GM getting recognized.

I have done game ops for the past 12 years for MLS, USSF, CONACAF and Fifa, so I live these rules on a regual basis. I assure you I watch a game differently that most. Yeah I do notice these things, it is who I am
