About This Page: This is a discussion on NHL Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. So I went to the Ducks/Blackhawks game because my friend didn't want to go alone.

So I went to the Ducks/Blackhawks game because my friend didn't want to go alone.
First thing I noticed: They don't have 100 level seating. First sign the place is evil.
But what we really noticed is the fact that these people really don't seem to be hockey fans. Now, being a Kings fan, I'm very aware of the fact that Ducks fans are all bandwagoners who really don't know much about the game. How else could they not understand what hacks Pronger and Bertuzzi are?
The perfect example (but not the only) was the couple of teeny-bopper girls sitting to the right of my friend. As he put it, they were talking about 'everything and nothing.' About half way through the 3rd period (when we'd been there for a couple of hours, mind you) one of them looked up, surprised and happy that the Ducks were winning, told her friend, and they both squealed with joy.
Seriously... what the...?
The Kings may be last, but at least I'm not a Ducks fan.
the one thing I noticed about the honda center was the amount of alcohol being served. For some reason every 50 feet is a stand with cases of beer and whatever else they were selling. All the rednecks come out to get drunk and watch some retards goon it up on the ice.

All you gotta do is sit in the stands and you realize that MOST (note I didn't say all) of the people in the Ducks arena don't know or care about what they're watching.
Yup, because I've never gone to Staples Center and had some douchebaggy looking guy show up with 5 minutes left in the 2nd period......and when the period ended, same guy asked me if the game was over.

No one said Staples didn't have a few of their own interesting "fans". However, MOST of the fans at Staples have at least a minimum understanding and/or INTEREST in the game. That does not seem to be the case at the Honda Center. I would at least hope they would want to learn about the game.

Yes because in 1981, King fans were just so ****ing knowledeable across the board.
This endless debate or should I say slandering of the fan bases is so ****ing old.
