as for your "huh" comment it means get off your ****ing high horse. Fans of other teams like Detroit, Toronto, Montreal, etc would have a field day with King fans so maybe King fans shouldn't act so high and mighty.

It's hard not to when they're standing in front of you, talking to everyone around you and then when they hear the crowd yell all of a sudden jump up and scream (like they know what they're screaming about). Enough examples for you?
Oh and for the record, I can hold my own with any other cities hockey fans.

Try being less crotchety and tune them out. If I can go to a game and come home not knowing a goddamn thing that anyone else said around me then I'm sure you can to.
Yes because in 1981, King fans were just so ****ing knowledeable across the board.
This endless debate or should I say slandering of the fan bases is so ****ing old.
pssst... virtual slander? slander is an oral defamatory statement. libel is print or oral (but more commonly, written).
looks like i'll be in your house tonight OP. i got some free tix from a friend (i won't go otherwise) and i'm going with her and her hubby. us two girls will probably be like those annoying fans who don't pay attention since her and i don't care for the ducks or nashville. don't mind us. although, at least i'll know what's going on when they call icing or the goalie gets pulled.

Agree with this post! When the guys at XM during last years playoffs mention that the Anaheim fans aren't the most knowledgable in hockey...well you know your fans suck!
They basically said they have to dumb down the hockey lingo so fans in Anaheim can understand what they are talking about.

Is that the reason when you want to talk hockey you come to a Kings site? Are there no intelligent people on a Ducks board to talk with? You have no credibility slamming anyone here or defending the Ducks fans as long as you post or even read this board. If the Ducks fans are so good why are you here?

I've already gone into lenghty detail why I post here. For clarification...just because someone is knowledgeable doesn't necessarily mean I want to talk to them. I've gone to the Ducks sites and have found a number of good fans. However, the mods at the Duck site I go to a total thread nazis and it ruins the fun. Therefore I don't go there too often. I have very close, long term friends that are Kings fans so I'm used to talking hockey with them.
I may have a lot of posts on this site but over the years my posts on Ducks boards far outnumber what you have seen me do here.
Why are the fans put at question? It seems as though a large portion of Kings fans go to games just to prove their hockey knowledge by showing how stupid other people are. When I go to games, I pay attention to the game, and not the other fans.
It's easy for Kings fans to look at something other than the ice because they are so used to looking at the terrible product on the ice.( and yes I know I broke my own rule, but it just feels so right!)
OP, don't bother wasting your time. This same argument goes for Angels/Dodgers and it gets annoying as hell too.
some people refuse to let go of their "well we are the better fans" argument because in relation to the sport it's all that they really have. The Dodgers used to have it until they went on their 20 year bender after the 88 series.
