About This Page: This is a discussion on NHL Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Honestly, how is it that every ex-King does better on a different team??? And every player thats good sucks when they come to the Kings?!

Belanger assisted on all 4 Wild goals tonight, and is tied with Bouchard, Koivu, and Gaborik with 15 points for the team lead. And I'm pretty sure he's been one of the 3 stars/game at least a half-dozen times already this season. He's also tied for a team best +5, has his clubs only SH goal, and 2 GWG.
Then look at Mark Parrish, a guy who was a complete bust and no better than Willsie while he played for us. He's tied with Rolston for a team best 7 goals, and leads them in PPG w/ 4.
WHAT.THE.****!?!??!

He had a career game with 4 assists. Good for Eric, but he won't keep this up for long.
That's not the point. My thread isn't based off of his 4-assist game. The point is that every player in the NHL is better when they're not playing for the Kings.

Your "point" has more holes that a tiajuana whorehouse.

Hell, you just gotta look at Belanger's teammate Demitra to prove that ain't true.

He's got 6 goals this year and maybe 11 points. Who knows but it's working well for JR in San Jose.
As for Belanger. I think maybe it's Lemaire and the amount of ice time he's getting. All I know is he's been kicking ass for me in fantasy(Depletion League. Took him in like the 20th round)

In the last three seasons he's missed 16 games due to injury.
What's your point here?
My point is from 01-02 through 05-06 he was one of the Kings' most fragile players.
2001-02 Los Angeles Kings NHL 53 games
2002-03 Los Angeles Kings NHL 62 games
2003-04 Los Angeles Kings NHL 81 games
2005-06 Los Angeles Kings NHL 65 games
