If M-E Vlasic can play 22+ minutes per game as a 19 year old rookie, why can't Thomas Hickey?
exactly... i'm f***all nearly serious.
Hickey won't likely be ready due to his injury, but i'd have Johnson, Doughty, Teubert, Martinez, Greene and Preissing, and if we can pilot fish Jason LaBarbera off in a trade, i'd roll with Bernier in net as well.
we're gonna see more and more teams beginning to fast track all of their players, including defensemen and goalies... hurt their development? whatever. it's juniors or NHL for some of these guys and this is the only way to ensure they grow together.

so far ersberg is unsigned, and it looks like DL is not looking forward to keeping him, so we can have JLB be backing up for Bernier

This is the kind of deal that a GM makes when his team can't get passed the 2nd round and he was just forced to fire his coach.
Wishart, Carle a 1st and a 4th. That's just cruel.
If I'm DL I make a call for McLaren.
Definitely a "last gasp" type of deal Wilson just made trying to get the Sharks to the Cup as they near the closing of their contender window. His job is on the line and he knows it.
If they want to pitch Erhoff or Vlasic due to cap hell, Deano should kick the tires on a possible deal for either one.

you would assume that there's still a little sanity up above Wilson and just after throwing Ty Wishart away they'd be a little more than reluctant to dump pickles as well.
Man, if you thought that Visnovsky was done wrong... !
But OMG!!! Won't Stamkos get so pissed off by the classless Tampa organization that he will never sign with them and defect to CHL until he's a UFA, because he can't stand playing for such meanies?!?!?!
