I happen to be flying into VA Saturday for a work conference next week & was able to score a ticket to the game on Sunday!!!! PLAYOFF HOCKEY AND IT AIN'T THE DUCKS!!!! Anyone have any recommendations on where to go before & after the game, since It's my 1st time there. Any help would be appreciated!!!
Are you staying in DC or just going into DC for the game? If you're staying in the city my DC tip is that you won't find any restaurants open in the area around the capitol after like 5 PM.
The Metro is great and easy to get around on, the Smithsonians are all free so if you have some free time go check them out. I liked the WW II Memorial. We were there on 4th of July weekend so the Vietnam Memorial was covered up for the fireworks and we couldn't see it. The trip to Arlington was also worth it.
Thanks for the info. I am staying in Vienna,VA about 15 miles from DC. As far as putting this in the Kings Talk.. sorry.... I guess I should have put it elsewhere.... wait, that didnt sound right.
