I don't know if anyone else tuned into watch the Capitals / Hurricanes game last night but that was one of the best games I have watched in quite a while.
Both teams beat the pi$$ out of each other and there was plenty o' action. It's a damn shame Gaby wasn't in place as coach earlier in the season, because if he was the Caps would have already secured a play-off spot. I still think they will make the playoffs.
Although the officiating was poor it was still a very intense game. And the hometown Caps fans had a lot to do with that. That place was effin' nuts!
It's a shame that Luc Robitaille's record for goals in a season by a left winger is going to fall. However, if Luc's record has to be broken at least I can tolerate it to some degree seeing a talent like AO set the new mark.
