If game 7 is necessary and on June 9th, that only gives him 11 days to prepare for the draft from a Toronto perspective.
If he takes Trader Cliff's offer before May 1st, he'll usurp some of the attention focused on the playoffs, and give himself 7 weeks or so to prepare for the draft.
Whatcha think? "Burke isn't leaving" is an unacceptable answer, but you're welcome to it.
Also...
Nonis in Anaheim? I doubt it.
Does Burke get a deal done with Perry prior to leaving?

Well since you say that there is no "Burke isn't leaving" talk, I guess my only suggestion for him would be to give himself as much time as possible to prepare for the NHL draft. Leave for Toronto ASAP, Burke....
If I were Toronto... I'd be dropping wheelbarrows full of money in Dave Nonis' back yard.
Nonis > Burke.

honestly, i'd look at possibly giving Dave Taylor a call.
Also a good option, although I think I'd give the nod to Nonis just because of what he was working on in Vancouver. If I were a Canuck fan I'd be supremely upset right now. Nonis got the shaft.
Certainly DT would be a good choice for them as well.

sadly enough, Nonis got the shaft primarily because of the team that Burke failed to build properly... though i STILL don't quite get what was behind trading Matt Cooke.
