They also took care of Jay Pandolfo & David Clarkson today. Too bad, they both would have been excellent finds for The Kings (frankly, for anyone)

Devils declined their option on Sergei Brylin. I assume he is UFA now.

as glad as I am that Pando resigned...it breaks my heart to see Brylin go. It's a very sad day. The minute he retires his # should decorate the rafters at The Rock...good luck Sarge!!!!!

Sadly I'm expecting #18 to be recycled immediately. I wouldn't rule out Brylin coming back, but ideally as the super utility 13th forward. Brylin could be of use to teams needing to fill out their 4th lines, but I can't imagine too many teams offering much for a 34 year old with 6 goals in 82 games.

Kinda mixed about Salvador as 2.9 just feels a bit high. Didn't make a good or bad impression on me during his stint last year. Currently have 8 guys with NHL contracts, so hopefully one of the lower rung guys (Vish, Greene most likely) get moved.
