Since a couple of people around here had asked me about the progress of Patrice Bergeron, I thought I should give a quick update.
Bergeron took the ice today in the first day of Bruins Development Camp. Afterwards, he talked to reporters:
Quote:
"I missed it so much," Bergeron said after the Boston Bruins [team stats]’ five-day development camp opened at their practice arena. "The biggest thing I’ve realized is that it is my passion, it is a sport that I love and I can’t wait to get back at it because I love playing the game, it’s great and I realize it’s what I want to do for the rest of my life."
"I'm feeling good," said Bergeron, who weighs about 190 pounds and has been symptom-free all summer. Bergeron has been working out six days a week in Quebec City.
