Why would his teammates be mad at him? He leads the team in goals and points this series, and ONE of those goals was a game winner. A play off game winner. Yeah... I'd be pissed at the guy who got into the head of a future hall of fame goaltender and had essentially put the nail in the coffin the first game, won us the second game, and kept us in the third game.

It doesn't even make any sense. He didn't GET a penalty, he should have DRAWN one, and then he SCORES. With players like Jagr, Shannahan, Gomez and Drury, there is NO LOGICAL REASON to put that loss on Avery. Especially since he scored shortly after the incident which has so many of you bent so far back. It wasn't that big of a deal. I'll agree that once was enough and it should be a penalized play, BUT it wasn't the end of hockey or the integrity of the league (Which by the way, has been questionable for quite some time now) it was one player doing everything he could WITHIN THE RULES to distract the goalie to help his team earn a goal. Even BRO-EFFING-DUER said it was a smart play, but none of you want to see that. The guy you jesters in shining armor are so valiantly defending doesn't think as poorly of this as you do.
You don't like it, I get it... we ALL get it. Hell I mildly agree. But past that, you're talking out of your collective asses on this one.
