Anaheim vs Dallas - Playoff Preview

The Ducks are in Dallas tonight in what is looking like a preview to the first round of the playoffs. With both teams fighting for the 4th seed (1st round home advantage), it's probably worth putting up with Hayward and checking this game out. Dallas has been struggling, but Anaheim is also having to cope without their gap-toothed thuggish blueliner... What better time for Dallas to put things back together and finish strong?

Of course, that first round match-up brings up another question. Should they actually meet in the first round, will you actually be rooting for the Ducks considering we have Dallas' first pick? Or will your hatred for another team overrule what's best for the Kings and cause you to root for Dallas, thus guaranteeing us a lower pick in this year's "deep draft" but ensuring that the Cup leaves Anaheim?

I wonder what kind of upheaval there will be in Dallas if they lose that one... AGAIN. Maybe more indifference?

I would definitely root for the Stars 100% in that series. Hopefully Dallas will be #4 and Anaheim will be #5.

I would root for Anaheim if they matched up with the Stars in the 1st round. The quicker they are out the better the draft pick!

Winning the first round wouldn't affect the Stars' pick. They would have to lose in the second round though.

Ducks will steamroll every team in the playoffs with their team toughness, heart, and courage. And don't forget, this is coming from a hardcore Kings fan... On a different but similar note:

I don't know about you guys, but us real hockey fans know how wimpy this team is. Dan cloutier was the only King to have enough balls to get in the face of Shark's goon, Jody Shelly. Do you think its a coincidence that the Kings have the worst record and lowest amount of fighting majors? I definitely see a correlation there, and for those that doubt my statistics, you can check them at hockeyfights.com. The teams with the most fighting majors are all in the playoffs or on the verge. Having one guy that will drop the gloves (Ivanans) is horrendous and embarrasing.

Yea, it takes A LOT of balls to skate up to Jody Shelley in full goalie-gear, including the mask, and talk **** while he's on the bench and you know he can't do ****.
