About This Page: This is a discussion on NHL Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Dallas doesn't stand a chance. Ducks in 5.
The one bright spot is that with Anaheim knocking Dallas out early, our 1st round Dallas pick will be the lowest it
I'm happy with the No. 2 pick, so I want Dallas to knock out the Mighty Schmucks. Dallas will pick up their game, Pronger will start the series slow, and I think it will go to 7 games, hoping Dallas wins, but then gets slaughtered in round 2.

There's no way the Ducks are going to lose this series. Dallas is not the same team they were earlier in the season, and Turco is the choke-master in the playoffs, not to mention when he isn't choking, Dallas forgets how to score.

Turco played some of his best hockey against the Ducks. 4-2-1 with a 1.85 GAA and .922 save percentage. On the other side, Giguere hasn't looked so good, posting a 2.92 GAA and .877 save percentage vs. the Stars. However, the Stars really struggled during the stretch run. They only won 3 games after acquiring Brad Richards, and Zubov is not expected to be back for the first round. And while Turco played very well in last year's playoffs, the 2 years prior he really struggled to stop anything. Even without Perry (who may be back later in the first round) the Ducks have a wealth of offensive weapons up front. Bertuzzi, Kunitz, and Getzlaf are a very physical bunch, and Teemu as we all know is one of the best pure goal scorers in the game. They also have Doug Weight, but his status is uncertain since he was a healthy scratch 2 of the last 3 games. But I can't picture Weight not being in the lineup. He plays really well in the postseason, as evidenced by the key role he played when the Canes won the Cup. Their offense would have been a lot scarier if they hadn't traded McDonald. Defensively the Ducks have a clear edge. Pronger, Niedermayer, Schneider, and Beauchemin should have no problem shutting down Modano, Morrow, Lehtinen, and Ribeiro. I'd be surprised if the Stars won more than 2 games this series.

Wow how is the only penalty to Selanne? Bertuzzi came over and attacked the dallas defender. Gayward with his stupid comments again....Ott only attacks skill players and not tough guys...even though he was roughing it up with schnider and o'donnel.

Wow it's just so funny hearing Gayward whine and cry like a little ****in baby.
This guy neaver stops short of amazing me with his little bitchy complaining, and stabs at opposing players. Again taking shots at Steve Ott, you can just hear in his voice that it's a personal issue, that he continously fails to detach from what's supposed to be impartial color commentating.
"Steve Ott stays clear of Anaheim's tough guys." What the **** exactly does Chris Kunitz do Brian? Talk about getting high off the scent of someone else's ass.
It's getting chippy. Bertuzzi should be ejected for 3rd man in (Does that rule still
exist?). Dallas up 2-0 and should be more.
I think it still exists, but it's not like Boucher and Salami were fighting, they were just shoving. Bert should have gotten an instigator though, I think.
