Yes, I have no interest in attending the first round especially since I've seen the Ducks play Dallas 8 times this season. As for the end of the game I was upset for about a minute and moved on. After all it's just a game.
The Ducks have been one of the league's most penalized team the past 2 years. They're finally being made to pay the heavy price by Dallas' PP. The result: By this time next week, the Ducks will be hitting the gold course. We still gotta hope Dallas loses in the second round though, or else the Kings draft position will fall from 23rd to 27th (at best).
no need to feel sorry for me. I said it before the series started. They won it last season and because of that I'm good for a good 5 years. Besides, I picked the Ducks to win this series in 7 which in itself made me far more open to the possibility that they would lose than most people here. Since most of you guys thought the Ducks would roll in 5 games. It's evidence that I at least saw it coming a little bit.

That's pretty much what I was gonna say. Nothing has changed as far as the Ducks taking penalties goes (other than the fact that they have Bertuzzi now as well who adds to the total). The difference so far this series is that they can't kill any of them off. Anaheim felt free to play dirty last year cuz they knew they'd kill the penalty and then score one after that. Their lack of success in that department so far this year has got to be getting into their heads.

While coming back is not out of the question I doubt that it happens. I would not go as far to say that they have no chance to win the series but I sure as hell would not say that there is a 10% probability of them winning it. Going into tonights game I thought that if they lost they were done and I'm sticking to it.

I don't give a **** about the nicknames of the guys on the Kings, you think I care about spelling the nickname of a ducks player "right?" The only reason I know "giggy" is because Hayward and Ahlers say it 15 times a game.
If anything I've learned against rooting for the Ducks, the biggest is DON'T TAKE ANYTHING FOR GRANTED. I will not be satisfied until the final horn sounds of the series and the Ducks have lost their fourth game in it. Giguere's huge chest protector still scares me, and I really hope Dallas can continue with their business, but, until they are officially eliminated, I will not cease to worry a bit...

I'd just like to remind some of you that this series is far from over.
It's pretty well over. Not so much from the 2-0 series lead perspective, but if you look at how the Ducks have played and specifically what penalties they've been taking (hooking, holding interference), they are being out-skated. If they back off from the physical game, Dallas is going to roll over them. They've got to keep the physical game up and hope their PK somehow comes back to life. That, and someone needs to remember how to score goals. Turco's 1.30GAA carrying over from last season's playoffs isn't helping their cause.
If it winds up wrapping up next week, it'll be interesting to see what moves are made this off-season for them. They're going to lose Niedermayer and Selanne (again), they lost significant scoring in Penner and McDonald (for Weight - who needs to get shipped back to St. Louis post haste). When I look at the Ducks I don't think "team on the rise", that's for sure.
Burke's going to be taking the GM job in Toronto anyway.
