Inside the Kings
I'd be happy with Stamkos, Doughty, or Bogosian. I've seen one game of Stamkos and one of Bogosian so far (I'm trying to catch up on their archived games)... and both are amazing. Stamkos just seems so dangerous every shift he's out there.
I'm watching a Petes game where Bogosian gets 3 goals and 1 assist; even though he was a beast offensively (he also led his entire team in scoring this year), but the guy is FAST. There was this one play where, during a powerplay, ZB was near the slot waiting a pass, when the d-man on the point lost the puck, resulting in a 2-on-1. Even though there was at least 15 feet between ZB and his man, he was able to catch up with him well before the play came into the defensive zone.
He has a wide array of offense, too. One goal (so far) came from the point on the powerplay, where he just ripped it through traffic. The second one he skated in from the point, and cut across from the boards to the front of the net, stickhandling it through a couple guys. Even though he lost control of the puck, he recovered and put it in.
He does have a couple issues in the defensive zone, from what I saw. He makes very simple breakout passes, usually aiming for the closest player. Sometimes, though, the closest player isn't the best one, and his defensive partner was caught with a pass sent to him just as he was approaching the opposition.
I'm going to get a Doughty game or two, though, and keep an open mind. You can't really go wrong with any of them.
And I didn't like much of Pietrangelo... but that's a different story.

I like stories! Do tell.
Drop it in the "other" thread if you don't want to get off-topic. I was very wary of Pietrangelo until lately, with reports that he's improved lately.
My vague sense of things:
Doughty - truly elite offensive talent, defense has room for improvement, not very mean, not a lightweight but not tall
Pietrangelo - "huge" but only uses size for improved reach defensively (not hitting) and isn't mean, less polished but potential on both ends makes his ceiling arguably highest
Bogosian - good in both ends, good size and uses it in combination with a mean streak, not very instinctive
Schenn - great in own end, play in offensive zone has room for improvement, very good size and uses it well, willing to drop gloves
