You saw Sandstrom, Millen, Luc & Hrudey play, yet you can't include Gretzky in your own top 10 list?
Belanger ahead of the greatest hockey player ever to put on skates???
Are you sure you don't want to put Storr in as your goalie?

Yes. FAVORITE players, not BEST players. If that was the case Gretzky would be first and Lappy wouldn't make the list. I remember when I was a kid ( about 11 or 12), I played a hockey game at the forum. At the forum, you could wait outside of the tunnel, and after the morning skate, the players would come out to the parking lot and sign autographs. So we waited there, and ALL of the Kings signed autographs, Luc and Granato took pictures, talked with us, etc. Not Gretzky. He drove out of the tunnel in an Audi. Hell, we watched Jari Kurri walk to the bus stop on Manchester and get on the bus. From that day forward, I've had a disconnection from Gretz. I love his ability, he's probably a really nice guy, but he does not make my top ten FAVORITE. At Staples the players sometimes have to stop at a red light, and one time Lappy was there in his Tahoe. He saw I had his jersey on, and he motioned to me to come over, and he asked me if I wanted an autograph. Same night I saw Palffy run that same red light to avoid the fans. Wasn't like there was 100 of us. Maybe 5.

I have some horrible stories about Gretzky which is why he's no where near my top 10. There are so many other players out there more deserving in so many ways.
