Then Phoenix took Kyle Turris
The same Kyle Turris who is making his NHL Debut Thursday.
MEANWHILE.....
Tommy Hickey is is still in juniors.
But even worse is that if the Kings took Turris, they'd have the 2nd line center the Kings need and (most of us) wouldn't be that upset if we choose whichever is the best D-man over Stamkos THIS season.
All because you wanted to win a meaningless game.
I know, I know. Get over it.
You know how long it takes me. Now that Al Murray is gone and Brian Boyle looks like he'll be an NHL regular, I need something new to bitch about for the next 4 years.
The meaningless win will be it... for now.

I know Turris looked pretty damm good in yesterday's college game! Meanwhile Voracek is tearing ass, gagner is in the nhl, and its only a matter of time before we are hearing "Damm Karl Alzner is establishing himself as a big Defensmen in the NHL."
CBGB you can bitch about the meaningless game, but Im gonna bitch about not drafting Alzner!
There's always Blake....and JR...and Cloutier and Armstrong, Crawford, Zeiler, Handzus, Stuart, Visnovsky, Willsie, Thornton, Giuliano, Dallman, Preissing, Nagy, the Red Coats, price of beer at SC.
What's to say DL wouldn't have picked Hickey anyway, even if we did have the 3rd pick? We're lacking in young defensemen, so why pick a forward? And Jesus Christ, can we just get over this and move on already? Neither player has played even one minute in the NHL, so how do you know Hickey won't turn into a better player than Turris? CBGB, you're worse than all those Vancouver fans who can't stop bitching about drafting Bourdon over Kopitar. (Thanks for that, by the way, Canucks!)
