There gonna need to make a deal to get a scorer, if there gonna have any shot in the playoffs. So i'm thinking trade Cammy for 1st pick 11th overall 2007 Brandon Sutter and their 2008 1st rounder.
It would be a steal for us, I mean DL already raped them in the trade for JmfJ, why not do it again.
Brandon Sutter has similiar size to Teddy Purcell, at 6'3'' 175, but he is a center.
So if we dont get stamkos, we atleast have a potential top second/third line center.
Plus with their 1st in 2008, that could yield us a 14-20th pick, i.e. Teubert, Colten 6'2 188 Defensemen since that is what DL is looking for.
And the future potential lines
Brown Kopitar Sully
frolov Sutter Purcell
Calder Boyle Moulson
Ivanas Handzus "player"

a bubble team like Carolina ain't going to be looking to make a big move. with both Brind'Amour AND Williams out and having just moved Stillman (for Eaves, who is also on IR), they'd be better off either staying the course and riding it out or becoming sellers at the deadline.
IF they look to make a trade for a dependable centerman, than i have a nice Derek Armstrong to sell them for cheap CHEAP!

why is it that you propose a trade of YOUR liking and call it a "steal"? OBVIOUSLY its a steal because YOU'RE the one that proposed and WANT to steal their players! oh lets trade armstrong and dallas' first rounder for ovechkin...THAT'LL BE A STEAL! when you put thoughts into a trade proposal, propose a trade that is logical for BOTH teams.
