Reading the thread title I thought Eklund was reporting (E2) that Gretzky was considering coming out of retirement and leaving the Phoenix organization to take over the 2nd line center position for the Kings.

Would probably be an upgrade, even at this point.

Well there's no surfing in Detroit...I guess that might be the reason.

Not that I particularly like Nagy since I think he's expendable, but let's paint a clearer picture with all the facts...

uh Willsie sat out a few games because of BACK ISSUES during the western canada swing the Kings had. remember when Purcell got called up???? I guess Ek isn't THAT crazy
