I bet you guys 7 to 1 we see the wrath of Rob Blake this off-season. By this I mean, him not returning to the team. I bet he is pissed about us trying to deal him at the deadline and will not re-up with the King's this offseason.

I really doubt that DLombardi wants RBlake back for 2008-09. I think he wanted to trade him to get some more draft picks. The Kings need to get a younger D-man( at least 10 years younger than Blake) to fill the roster spot soon to be vacated. And he needs to be a RD I think. ZChara sure would have been a nice catch...

If DL DOESN'T resign Blake this offseason, then he deserves to be blasted for not dealing him at the deadline. He could have if he wanted, but Blake was only going to one team. If you don't want to resign him at the end of the year, you shoulda taken what you could get for the guy.
I'm ok with Rob not coming back. He was severely overpaid. If he is re-signed, it needs to be for $1-2 mil , and not his usual salary. And if it bothers him to take a pay cut--so be it...
