I would say the Kings did only because they had Wayne Gretzky the greatest ever to play the game, Luc Robitaille who is now the highest scoring left-winger in the game today, Blake one of the best D-men in the game today, Granato, Sandstrom, Taylor, Sydor, Zhitnik, Kurri, Hrudey, and etc...
I just thought this would be an interesting topic to be brought up because when you then look back last year with who the Ducks had (even now they still do) with their roster, they pretty much have it all there too with players like---S.Neidermayer, C.Pronger, Selanne, Perry, Getzlaf, Giguere, and etc..
I know the Kings may of not won the Stanley Cup that year and the Ducks did last year. But both of these teams do have quite a bit of depth.

IMHO -- its a moot point. The ducks HAVE a cup.

The question is who played the team with a better roster:

They didn't win the cup? Damn....for the past 15 years I thought that they had won the cup!

Ducks, Kings had Shuchuk that negates the Gretzky/Robitaille factor. Ducks were much better on the 3rd and 4th lines.

If your question is who would win a 7 game serries between the 07 Ducks and the 93 Kings, Then I say Ducks win.
Stronger, tougher, more balanced attack. Speed and skill almost even.
A couple more high end players for the Kings, but a better all around team for the Ducks.
