I know that all of those teams are trying to get as far as they can into the playoff race but why aren't the Kings signing anybody?
I'm sure there are plenty of good D prospects at the college level, and although they may not be as good as Doughty or Schenn or any of those guys they are still there and they can still develop?
Is there something I'm missing? Or are we planning on doing something.

Aren't we close to the limit for having players signed? We signed a lot of guys last year.
We're not THAT close, but we also have a lot of draft picks to sign and more to take this summer.
It could be that we missed out on a few...
It could be that we weren't interested...
It could be that these kids no longer see the Kings as the easiest path due to (1) the number of young prospects we have and (2) the fact that we're actually somewhat slow to promote them. Didn't we sell Piskula with the promise of a few NHL games... only to banish him to development in the AHL (rightfully)?
It could be that the Kings are way more focused on the draft than following undrafted guys around...
The Kings have quite a few junior players to sign for the coming season so their focus will be there. That isn't to say that Dean Lombardi won't sign at least one maybe two free agent collegians. Between now and August he must sign players like Joey Ryan,Buddy Holloway,Niclas Andersen, and TJ Fast. Look for Lombardi to also sign Thomas Hickey,Jeff Zatkoff,Alec Martinez and maybe Johan Fransson if we're lucky. That is a lot of talent to bring on board right off the hop...
PS There is going to be some players not resigned and or released...BWillsie,SThornton,LNagy,Dan Cloutier,Rob Blake, and possibly Kyle Calder too...lots of changes lots of moves...
does josh kidd count? how about the failed baier tryout?
BU's not making the tournament makes me wonder if matt gilroy isn't on some team's radar...i like the cut of his jib even though he's a ****in terrier.
