Let's say for instance in 2 seasons from now with the same core of players, we haven't made the playoffs. Would it be safe to assume that the coaching has reached the limit of their abilities?
I remember going into this season, people were picking Dallas to be as bad or worse than the Kings. Some on this board even went so far as to say the Kings roster on paper was better than the Stars. And now the Kings are dead last and the Stars are second in the Western Conference. Does that mean Tippett is that much better than Crawford?

No, because goaltending and defense haven't been addressed yet.

Maybe. But you really can't argue Tippett has his team playing above themselves, can you? Call me crazy, but if Tippet was coaching the Kings I'd bet the kids would still be playing well, and maybe even a veteran or two also. I'm not saying they'd be playoff bound, but not dead last either.
Crawford has done OK. Not great, not horrible. Typical Kings-style.
