Last season, Anaheim Ducks right-winger George Parros, a Princeton grad, led the NHL with 18 fighting majors.
This season, Los Angeles Kings prospect Kevin Westgarth of Amherstburg, another Princeton grad, is cutting a swath with his fists through the American Hockey League, opening eyes while closing them."
Interesting read, thanks for the link. I think the author is reaching if he thinks Westgarth is going to see time with the Kings this year. Unless Ivanans goes down with an injury, Kevin'll continue to pound fists with his face down in the A. He seems like a nice guy, and he's obviously game, but he doesn't seem to be a very good fighter at all.

Haha, I looked up his fights on youtube, and I'd have to agree. He seemed to get worked a couple times by guys who were about half a foot smaller than him. He loves to fight & throws bombs, but a lot of them don't connect, and he doesn't seem to have much of a left-handed punch. Definitely needs some fight training from a pro.

Now hey there, he's a prospect like all others are.
Fighters and scorers, they all need time to develop.
Let's be honest here: He is HUNGRY for fighting, and also his tendency to defend teammates is just GREAT. He could turn out to be one of the key players for the Kings when it comes to physical roll players...
