About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Here's the link for tonight's game: http://myp2p.eu/broadcast.php?matchid=5066&part=sports
Click the link the says "Play."
If you haven't
If it doesn't load in SopCast, check out these instructions:
"Sopcast/VLC note:
All streams on Sopcast can be viewed with VLC, though for a select few streams this is mandatory. Additionally, sometimes VLC can stream a few seconds or more ahead of what shows up in Sopcast itself, which can help reduce your lag between the stream's source and when you watch it.
To use VLC, download VLC at http://www.videolan.org and install it , then start the Sopcast stream and let it buffer. Then open VLC, go to Open Network Stream, select HTTP option, and type in 127.0.0.1:8902 (if not working, try port 8912). You MUST leave Sopcast running; closing Sopcast closes the stream. If the stream gives sound in both VLC and Sopcast, mute the sound on Sopcast, or hit the refresh button so the Sopcast screen goes blank, but the VLC screen stays intact."
In other words, open it in SopCast, minimize SopCast, and then open the stream in VLC.

Ah, but has any Mac user tried it with XP under Parallels or Bootcamp?
I don't have either set up on my laptop, but my Dad does. Since we're out of town together I'm going to see if he'll let me fiddle around with it. I'll let you guys know if I have any success.
However I did find a few sites that had some work arounds if you had an intel mac, which I unfortunately do not. But they had a link for a program called "CrossOver" that could open Windows files on an intel Mac without having to install a version of windows (like boot camp and parallels require you to do).
I couldn't try it to see if it works or not, but here is the link to the website where you can download a 30 day trial if anyone is interested:
But if you have an intel mac, chances are you probably already have boot camp or parallels running and can just use sopcast on that.
If anyone finds a way to watch the game on a PowerPC mac, please pass that info along though, cause I'm sure there will be plenty of people interested in that info.
I'm currently watching the Edmonton vs. Carolina game with sopcast. I've tried to watch other games throughout the week, but some of the channels don't connect and just buffer like the last Kings game @ Edmonton. If that happens then you need to download vln and use there program. The channel is offline until around 5 mins after the hour.
