Guys, I thought I would start a new Rob Cowie thread just to make sure everyone sees this. I emailed him to ask what he was doing these days and he wrote me back. He also needs help finding some jerseys! Lets hook the Cowboy up!!
Here is Rob's email:
"I live in Scottsdale arizona and am involved in real estate here in North Scottsdale as well as in Show Low Arizona, where I have a cabin. (see North Scottsdale Real Estate and White Mountain Vacation Homes by Rob Cowie).
I also am the western pro scout for the New York Islanders and see around 80 NHL games every year. I am at Staples center quite often and always love getting back to LA, where I am still good friends with Sean ODonnell.
On another note, I wonder if you can help me with some direction. I never was given (or even offered) my game worn jerseys from the Kings. I was told they were all auctioned off-both years that I was there-at the end of the seasons because the ownership was in such trouble. I have made a little effort to try and find out who has them (especially the 'burger king' jersey). Would you know where or who I could ask, and if someone has one would they be interested in trading for something. They are the only jerseys I don't have from my 13 year career, and I would love to have them for my kids!! Thanks Rob"
I think if anyone can help him out, just go to his website and email him.

That Burger King is gonna be a tough one because they go for huge bucks, even a Cowie. The other ones should be pretty cheap if you can find them. Make an Ebay alert for "Cowie game used" and one may pop up.
Have him call Barry Meisel at Meigray and that will be the best help. I believe there was a Cowie Burger King about two years ago that was 750 just for the Game Issued version. Someone bought it though but Barry had it.
Calling Meigray's is the best bet like Belanger said. I'll keep an eye out in the meantime though. The Third jersey is a tough one though. Hell, blank replicas are hard enough to find as it is of those.

Wow, it's a small world. We vacation every year close to Show Low and the White Mountains. Maybe we will stop by in a few weeks while we are there and get an autograph from him.
I just have to say this...every story I read about an NHL player, or every quote I see from one, brings me to the conclusion that these guys are the best in pro sports.
Yes, Rob was not a huge NHLer, but still, he seems extremely down to earth and just a good guy.
