Others have said it and I am in agreement, I don't know how it will happen because Burke and DL probably won't deal with each other directly (some sort of 3-way team deal) but here is my thought:

Also think DL will have to take some salary back in the form of a player from ANA.

That could very well be the BIG TRADE that was rumored on HF.

Blake will not be traded but he will be offered an extension over the next 2 or 3 years.

As much as I hope he is traded, I just don't see it. If he didn't have a championship to his name already then I would say may be but I think he is looking forward tot he summer already.

That said, if he is traded there is NO way a deal will happen with Anaheim. Burke and DL witll never make a trade with one another. The Ducks will never do anything that benefits the Kings. A move the Kings could some day fluant. On top of that, the Ducks don't need another defensemen. They need scoring help in the worst way.

Let the Nagy to the Ducks rumors fly!

Like I've said in a couple of posts I think Blake and Cammy are gone my Tuesday!

Blake, Tukonen, Dallas 1st round draft pick to Anaheim for Kent Huskins and Edmonton's 1st round pick.

Cammy and a 3rd round pick in 2009 to Edmonton for Joni Pitkanen and Raffi Torres

All I know is that I'm going to be really freaking disappointed if the only "asset" that we end up moving by Tuesday ends up being Modry.

I mean come on, this was suppose to a beautiful time of the year, where all of our suckage payed off because we had so many players on the verge of being UFA's, and because some of our young guys were coming around, we could seriously look into trading a few of them that may not have been in the long term plans (ie Cammy, as much as I love his occasional contributions). We're supposed to be getting offers up the wazoo by now.

But what are we getting so far? Rumors of Blake sticking around and Stuart getting an extension. Heck Nagy may not even be moveable because of his wonky neck. And Thornton or Willsie? Who the hell is going to give us anything for those guys?

Damn it, talk about a cocktease.
