Purcell will be a good player in this league, very good hands
Labarbera played well but got lucky on a few shots
Johnson got absolutely rocked, hopefully it awakens a mean streak in him
The Ivanans fight happened right in front of me(Ivanans looks a little like Frankenstien up close)
Blake is playing very well
Overall team effort was very solid, commited to all aspects of the game, the Kings are much better than their record and are easily a much better team than the Oilers, despite what the Oiler fans think.
although the building was full it was a pretty quiet crowd. It wouldn't surprise me to see the Kings win the next two games on this trip
Sully has become a completely different player than what we first saw early last year. DL clearly understood the potential he had when he traded away Demitra... it just took some time before his skills and confidence broke through at the NHL level.
Since Frolov returned to the line-up from injury (Dec. 15th), he's had 5 goals and 9 assists. That's almost a point a game. Plus he averages about 18 minutes of ice time per game in those 15 games and has been one of the most effective Kings players while protecting the puck.

Sully was, by far, the best player on the ice for the Kings. he could've had a hat trick
By far? Kopitar was first star of the game chosen by media, probably it had something to do with the fact, that he was there for all 3 goals and he actually had an important role with all of them. You might not agree with the selection, but in 95% of time when LGK-ers use the term "by far the best player" they are very wrong (and it doesn't matter which player it is, this includes Kopitar). Also 90% of the time, when LGK-er s use the term "that goal was all X", where X is the name of a player, they are simply wrong.

Labarbera did make some big saves, he deserves a lot of credit, especially for two big in-close pad saves at the end. But i guess the only when for him to get some credit will be for him to be traded away, then we can all talk about how we never should have let him go etc.
BTW, the Edmonton color commentator (was it Ferraro? Can't even remember) talked in the first period about how he couldn't believe that Minnesota gave up on O'Sullivan, and predicted he will be a star in this league.
