Very limited chance. I asked a question like this regarding the chance the Kings might take a forward over a d-man & most of the responces were "no chance".
I doubt the Lightning take any chance & skip on the overall rated #1 pick. Filtov doesn't have enough to become the first overall & the Lighting want to Replace what they lost with Richards.
It's not a 100% but I'd say it's a done deal that the Bolt's take Stamkos.
I like Cammy and Zatkoff as bait, but not nearly enough, and not worth losing any of those other guys IMO. Let's sit tight, grab a D-man, and run with what we've got.

It would have to be the Kings #1/second overall and Brown.
They will have a need for defense here shortly and other than Boyle I think the others are only under contract for 08/09.
Brown would be a good compliment two ways, on the ice and on the cap. 6 more years at a good cap hit of 3.2-mil.
That being said in todays world unless Stamkos is caught smoking crack with Kevin Stevens, he goes #1.
I was thinking Jay Feaster might pass on Stamkos and instead draft an 18 year old bottle of scotch. But then again he looks more like a peppermint schnapps kind of guy.
