I believe he is the Americans captain. He is now 7th
I am glad to see T.J. doing well! He stayed for the entire July camp and had good speed but seemed to have alot to work on. What has impressed me the most with DL and his new regime is the amount of focus placed on development.
Maybe it's just me, but it seems that many of the Junior prosepects who attended the various camps over summer seem to be doing really well. King, Moller, Fast, Holloway all have taken a step forward in their development, moreso than previous years it seems.
I got to see him twice this season ( my son was there for tournaments) .
He is all over the ice. On the PP he is not afraid to jump in. He has a long stride and covers a lot of area.
He is the Captain on a pretty good team.
As for being soft, it is hard to tell. I did not see him lay the body at all, but he was never out of position. Sometimes we get caught up in the "all d men must hit" scenario and if that is what you want, TJ will not be there. He will play sound, positional defense and he has the knack to either rush it up or make a perfect pass through the zone.
He seem to always know what to do when he had the puck and he never made a mistake, that I saw.
