Above that, Lombardi would have to weigh the quality of the team tending the offer against the 2009 draft.
Thats what I`m saying,an upper tier team would not be overly concerned with losing late round draft picks that are not proven,for a up and coming scoring versatile forward that has more upside than any player on the Kings.

Unless Sully pulls a Cammy and demands WAY more money than he is worth, there is no way DL will let it get to a point where another team would even have the opportunity to tender an offer sheet..

Forgot to mention Patricks` salary is only650,000 without bonuses this year.Not sure if they take bonuses into consideration in regards to compensation---if it is not. it looks like Sullys` agent Newport Sports set him up for an offer sheet that would not require any compensation back!!!!!!!!!! Holy Sh--------t! I believe it will cost them at least 4 mill a year with a player in his bargaining position.

I'd take the 1st, 2nd and 3rd round picks without even blinking. And that's coming from one of O'Sullivan's biggest fans.

Patrick is nothing like Cammy,Patrick is one of the most loyal persons out there just ask any body that knows him.Look at his past (stayed with his jr.club turned them into a winner while all their other 1st picks overall bailed on them( Spezza, Jarret, Shremp ,Dickenson. Hell he still loves his Dad left him tickets in Nashville last week.
