Cool by me. We can probably get a first for him if we luck out.
I don't blame him one bit. At this stage in his career he needs to be fighting for the cup, not chilling on the last place team surfing with Robbie Blake.
Totally agreed-this is great news! If Modry can fetch a 3rd I think its very legitimate to think Stuart can get us a first.
Heres a topic to debate-Lets say a borderline playoff team is offering a 1st for Stuart straight up; but a team like Detroit is offering their first plus a prospect- do you gamble the borderline team will miss the playoffs and get a better pick or take the sure thing and add to the pipeline? If the Blog is true and Boston interested-that pick could be in the top 15 if Boston misses the playoffs altogether.

Wow! I'm kind of bummed - I will be the first one to admit that I did not like Brad very much through the months of October and November. But I like Brad now and think that his game has improved quite a bit since December. I hope this "rumor" is not true! But if it is, he could have rejected the offer not because he didn't like playing with the kids but because he doesn't like being coached by Crawford.
Didn't Stuart reject a very lucrative long-term deal with Dallas and then get stuck with our one year offer this year because nobody was interested? Ya think he would have learned his lesson.

I was thinking more along the lines of the last thing the Kings need is a dman who tanks 2/3 of the season only to pick up his play right before the trade deadline. Despite his play of late, Stuart has been a huge disappointment this season.
