About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. It wouldn't be so bad if they didn't have mics mounted all around the boards. At least put a freakin' high-pass filter on the mics so it doesn't sound like

I've brought my brother's kids to games and sat down low. the camera guys go up to people (kids) and ask them to pound on the glass. Then the red coats come down and tell them to stop and the camera guys ask the kids again.
oh shut the **** up. If I'm gonna drop a bill fitty and I want to stand up and bang on the glass Imma gonna ****ing do it whether you like it or not.
I agree with the logic, but the question is, why would you even want to bang on the glass? I've sat down there before and never felt the urge to go medieval on it's ass.

Yup.
What I'd find more irritating is that damn kid on the Kid's Night commercial who feels the need to have his face plastered up against the glass. Although...I would love to see Brownie plow someone into the boards right as he was doing it.
Oh, and that NHL Network commercial is entertaining the first 100 times you've seen it, now it's the signal for me to hit my mute button.

You agree with that logic? BTW he was being sarcastic.
interesting... i never really thought about it. i just thought it was part of the game. i always dreamed of one day sitting up there and pounding on the glass once in a while, or in celebration when a goal is scored.
if i ever shell out the money to sit up there... i'll remember this post.... and then probably still pound the glass
Yes, those people are idiots. They should be there to watch the game, not see if they're on TV. I hate it when people stand up, and wave to the camera and are on their cell phones probably asking friends/family if they see him/her on tv.
I noticed that ANY Red Wings game at home has a bunch of dingleberries standing up in front of the camera when the puck is along the near boards, and they KNOW they're blocking the view.
It never really bothered me before but then I read this post last night before I left for the game and the whole game, as I watched from above in the 300's, every time someone started banging on the glass I wanted to scream "SIT DOWN YOU DOUCHE BAG!!!
