It all depends on which direction the Tampa Bay's Ownership wants to go. even though they have the 1st overall pick,they could go defense and the Kingd still could get Stamkos. Then CBGB will look like a profit.

Come on guys, don't give up. Tampa only has one pick in the top 60 of a very deep draft. Maybe you could think of ways that we can trade for Tampa's #1 and have the #1 and #2 picks this year.

Anyone who drafts first overall will 95% of the time select the best overall player. You should've seen the smirk and excitement from John Torterella when he won. Stamkos will be wearing a Lightning jersey next year because they lack a second center. I think they purposely tanked to get rid of Richard's fat contract in order to pick up a franchise player in Stamkos

you obviously didn't watch the lottery. Andrechuck or however you spell his name, had a huge boner for Stamkos and made several references to how they are going to use Stamkos. That meaningless win last week against the Sharks ended it for us
