It is still the Kings pick so they can do whatever they want with it...as far as I know.

The Kings are playing too well to end up in last overall. My prediction is that they will past both Tampa and Atlanta before it's all through....unfortunately.

somebody needs to post these stats in the Kings locker room, on DL's desk and on the dashboard of Crawford's car. We need this kid!!! Stop all this winning nonsense and keep us in last where we belong. Getting Stamkos opens all kinds of possibilities. Trade Cammy for a d-man is one. Another obvious is we need Brooks Orpik!!!!!!

DL already said in regards to this draft "We will be erring on the side of defense."

It doesn't really matter where we pick in this draft as the parity through the first round is some of the closest we have seen in years.

You've got to be stupid not to draft this guy.... I mean, even if you want defense, draft him and then use him as trade bait, but everyone's going to be drooling over this guy. To draft another young D prospect and wait 5 years for him to develop doesn't help us NOW, which is going to have to start weighing on DL's mind as his "plan" is moving on with little results for the present.
