The kid got a a knee to the head...not much he could have done. He was held out a few games as a precaution and played tonight. He has no concussion history and has taken some tough hits previously and been ok. I think he is going to be just fine....
He's not 20, so he needs to have completed four seasons of junior. He has played in four seasons (2004-05 to 2007-08), but only played 5 games in 04/05. Does anyone know if that counts?
Hickey can join manchester for the playoffs and be sent back to the WHL next season.
Holloway can play an overage year if he and the Kings so choose, but it isnt likely. He will probably fill a forward spot on the Manchester roster next season with the likely jumps of boyle, purcell, and maybe moulson.

Holloway is 20, so he can join the Monarchs.
I figured he would be okay for the Playoffs and would probably have no interest in playing in Seattle again. He has proved what he needs to prove in juniors. It is time for him to turn pro.
Let Hickey take the Spring off. I'd love to see him help out Manchester's depleted blueline but the last thing the franchise needs is for him to take another shot to the noggin.
The kid has played A LOT of hockey the past 9 months. Let him rest.

I agree, the kid needs to come to LA and get his head checked and then go on a strength program to add a few pounds.
I thought the playoff roster had to be set weeks ago - or are we talking the last few games of Manchester's season.
Junior players and college players are eligible to join the team after their respective seasons are over. They don't have to be included on the Clear Day List (playoff roster)...

They (past and present Mgmt.) screw with the lineup every season. It's one of the things that a lot of Monarchs fans complain about. Then, some ass hole or ass holes from this board or other boards feel obligated to educate said Monarchs fan[s] about what the Monarchs and AHL roles are. Typically they'll continue on that we should be grateful to have hockey in Manchester and suggest that we STFU...

Yeah, so STFU!!! just kidding...
The Monarches do have some injuries, so it in this instance it might be nice to get some more quality bodies on the ice. It is really too bad that Boyle is out and he is not going to get that playoff experience.

If Dano was the President and GM of the Monarchs, based on what resources he had available at this time this year, what roster moves would he make?
