Sharks just traded for Brian Campbell

I've always said that Rob Blake will NOT be traded.

The only team Blake will be traded to is Colorado and the return will be slim.

I think Lombardi should turn his attention to re-signing Stuart or moving him in a deal.

Blake has effectively limited any return Lombardi can get for him. Hence, Rob Blake is a waste of time.

still though, a slim return for blake as a rental is better than having him stay rest of the season, imo. not the Ducks first rounder that some here were creaming over, but then Deano mays still play colorado against Anaheim? TSN's suggesting Foote might come back to Colorado if he can't get a deal from Columbus. Blake might really consider waiving to "get the band back together" (the way another poster put it), in Denver.

According to the LA Times

If Colorado doesn't offer enough then Blake will not be traded. It would be unfortunate for Colorado not to make a deal. It makes them that much stronger on the blue line.

According to TSN Trade Centre, the Kings are trying to sign Stuart to a contract extension, but it does not look like it will happen.
