I really haven't paid much attention to the draft in detail but after viewing these videos I'm almost hoping now the Kings do end up at #3 (assuming they don't get #1 that is). I can see either Bogosian, Pieteranglo or Schenn as good picks for the Kings. I'm not that interested in Doughty only because he seems to be more offensive minded and the Kings seem to have plenty of that. A hard-hitting SOB is what the Kings need now, IMO.
I'm sure Doughty is an excellent choice but as has been mentioned, he may be too much of an offensive minded player. Is that possible? Yes, the Kings have got plenty of those. With the quality of Kings forwards with the team now and coming along, the capacity to score doesn't seem to be an issue. The Kings need the warrior, physical defenseman "not afraid to get nasty", and to top that off he apparently has the decent size, strength and exceptional skating ability and hockey smarts.

After seeing this video I think that Bogosian is the way to go, his mindset is exactly what we need and I would love to see him in a Kings jersey. Defense is a much larger team need as oppose to another offensive prospect. I am also in agreement with Bogosian>Doughty, as far as offensive minded defenseman, we're golden.
