Are your opinions from personal viewing? It's not a slam just a question since his defensive positioning, defensive calmness and skating have all been praised in nearly all articles about him.

Yeah, though I'll admit, it's only been two games I've seen of him, and I'm far from a professional scout.

IMO, if he was really that good in those areas as well, he'd undoubtedly be the #1 overall pick over Stamkos.

Now I'm not on the bandwagon to get him... I think that mono mainly dropped him a few spots... Between Doughty...Bogosian...Schenn...and Myers...I'm not sure which of them I want to see more... If you throw Filatov (and if by some miracle Stamkos falls to us) in the mix...Pietrangelo isn't even in my top five players...
