Gagner = ROTY (rookie of the year) IMO
the only good i can think of to come out of this is by DL not drafting this kid, not only did Gagner help lower the Ducks pick, but he's helped our chances of drafting...
Gagner is not the Rookie of the Year. He's not even the best rookie on his team. Both Andrew Cogliano and Tom Gilbert have had bigger impacts as rookies on the Oilers.
Then there's Backstrom, Toews, Kane, Mueller, Enstrom and Niskanen, all of which deserve more consideration for Rookie of the Year than Sam Gagner.
He's a good kid though. If he wasn't about the same size as Mike Cammalleri I might even like to see him on this team.
While I still grouse daily about the selection of Hickey over Alzner, let's at least wait until he makes the big league before we start comparing him to other forwards taken.
By the way, weed rules, especially the stuff in Vancouver. Go get some, it will enlighten you.
Oh yea and a couple of years ago 11 teams could've drafted Anze Kopitar before the Kings did.
And as some have said,Gagner is a player butr not Rookie of the Year. Maybe you need some Hash Oil to go along with that weed.
