The Royals beat the Jackals 4-3 tonight to clinch the spot and move into second place in the division. Just hoping the powers that be send a goaltender back for the playoffs.

PARSE has 10 pts in 15 games, with a -6.


Not very good for an NHL prospect in the ECHL.

Is this the beginning of the end for Parse's hockey career?

Between the issues of getting him signed and his injuries, I fear he will be falling fast out of the organization. We seem to have so much depth with players like Halloway, Moller, Simmonds, and Cameroon ,(all who seem to have better success and are much younger) and we will be re-stocking with the additional "studs" due to our draft position this yea. Scott needs a big playoff performance and 2008/2009 year or he will become Kanko.........................expendable.

I am wondering if Bernier can join the Royals if Lewiston gets knocked out early?

I'm pretty sure players have to play 5 games for the team to be named to the playoff roster.

So no, Bernier won't be playing for Reading if Lewiston gets knocked out early.
