Pitkanen is 23 years old and made $2.4M this season and will be an RFA at the end of this season.

I would still prefer Suter in a deal for Cammalleri, but Pitkanen ain't chopped liver.

It seems more likely that Lombardi will finish off Cammalleri with the STHs at the upcoming Breakfast with the GM and then deal him on draft day as opposed to just trading him now. Perception is everything...

Most STHs have known that Cammalleri has been finished here for awhile.

I'm rooting for Cammy to score some goals to entice a few offensively starved playoff teams to cut loose a top young D prospect before the deadline.

There a lot of teams looking for more offense going into the playoffs.

i couldn't agree more... IF they decide to move Cammalleri, it should come NO earlier than draft day.

If Cammy is on the block, there are MANY teams that are desperate for 2nd line scoring - NJ has let it be known that they are looking, Nashville has the D-men DL covets

I think we actually get MORE than Pitkanen for Squid. 25-30 goal scorers entering their prime don't grow on trees.
