I bet Thornton is traded for at least a 3rd. He's got the veteran toughness which playoff teams like.
Modry would make a good 7th dman. He's even held his own most of the season as the Kings 6th. I expect him to be part of a package.
Nagy will pull in a 2nd, at least.
May be Nagy+Modry for a low 1st?
Stuart will get something as well. He always does, lol. I wouldn't mind him being resigned to another 1-year contract, though may be not at 3.5M. He's shown he has the talent to be a good defenseman. Do we give him another year to see if he can do it consistantly?
Willsie can go for like a 5th or something.
That leaves Blake.
Last year, some idiot Canadian reporter claimed that Dean wanted a first for Avery, and when Dean didn't get that 1st, people LOLed. Of course, he probably didn't really want a 1st. And now the same thing happened. Some idiot Canadian reporter says Dean wants a roster player, a prospect, and a pick for Blake. Probably untrue.
I think for Blake something fair would be a pick in the 15-25 range and a teams top 5 prospect.
Despite the general consensus that Blake is old and doesn't have it anymore, we know better and hopefully Dean makes other GMs know better. Blakey has been damn good lately.
Cammi is the wild card. If really wouldn't be surprised to see him go, tbqh. After the contract squabbling, and Cammi's injury, and his presence but being really missed, it seems like his connection to the Kings seems to be tenuous.
