The only thing more enticing than who the Kings will select with the first or second overall pick, is who will win/lose the Cammy sweepstakes. So let's talk about what is realistic.
Cammy's Pros:
-well, he can score, I guess.
-he's cheap and a good bang for the buck provided he doesnt get hurt.
-he is good in the locker room, as in, dudes do like him as a fella.
Cammy's Cons:
-he's small. like, really small.
-disappears for days on end. Have a search and rescue team on standby.
-makes bizarre PP zone-entering decisions like HAI BIEKSA I GO THRU U NOW LOL (crap)
-he's a PA dude, a small one.
-his contract is for only 08-09 at that fair price.
-his play in the other two zones leaves a lot to be desired. and he's small.
-Toronto in 09-10?
Dreams of "Cammy for Suter straight up!" just aint happening.
PROGNOSIS: VAST OVERPAYMENT FOR ANYTHING COMING THE OTHER WAY!
Anyone have a solution to this that isn't as retarded as, say "DUDE JUST SIGN HIM FOR 5 MILLION HES TOTALLY WORTH IT"
because thats just horse****, and always was.

I'd take a 1st rounder in this or next years draft. We got Purcell, Boyle, Moulson and (to a certain extent) Tukonen who could replace him next season. I can't think of any teams at the top of my head who have a surplus of young defenseman other than Nashville...
If they trade him, it better be for a roster player. A decent one at that.
I hate to tell you Dave, but he's having a tragically bad, Nagy like season. injured, not playing well post-arbitration (yes, this will raise questions) average a good deal less than a PPG and thats taking into account the good pace he was off to first 12 games.
Not sure what kind of roster player you'd realistically expect to see, but Cammy's stock is dropping faster than Bear Sterns'.
Id be ecstatic over trading him for Tom Gilbert's negotiating rights.
