Rumored but never confirmed (if you can find it on google, I welcome it but 10 minutes of searching came up with jack but blogger speculation...) arrests for drunk driving and cocaine possession, lack of accountability, and a "me first" attitude are all things that Los Angeles does not need in a professionall athlete. If he got in THAT MUCH trouble in Ottawa imagine what would happen here? I mean even a straightedge Grant Fuhr couldnt deal. If he was putting up Fuhr circa 1999 numbers then I might think about it for a hot second, but right now his talent level is not surpassing the level of trouble he would create here.
emery was and always has been overrated. on another note, i wonder if we will ever see the day when someone actually posts a plausible trade or free agent signing possibility on this board.
My how a year can change your fortunes, well in this case less than a year. One thing that supprises me is that Murray thinks Gerber is fine as the goalie next year, im thinking Murray might be the problem in Ottawa.
