About This Page: This is a discussion on LA Kings Talk within the LetsGoKings.com forums, at Los Angeles Kings Hockey Fan Forum. Good leadership qualities, physical play and a 6'1" 215 lb. frame? Uh, yes please. Exactly the kind of D prospect the Kings need. Anybody see him play recently? Curious to know what people think of his play. DL was able to sign Piskula out of Wisconsin. Maybe he could play a part in convincing him to sign here. Hell, Bob Miller did play-by-play for the Badgers back in the day. Do whatever it takes Deano!

Why. He's a 23-year old, 6'-1" undrafted defenseman with meager numbers in an era of far reaching prospect picks on defense in the last few drafts, which he was available in 04 I believe.
Not very many projected top 4 defenseman go undrafted in North America.

He might be a later bloomer, like Purcell. I remember Piskula went undrafted due to injury (wrist, I think) and DL signed him as a FA. Even if he only becomes a #5 or 6 defenseman you would still be getting without using a draft pick or trading away other assets. I wonder how many teams are pursuing him.
